Wall moving in Gaithersburg and laundery installation on 2nd story with built in closet

Wall moving in Gaithersburg. Original wall had sliding door in it so more or less simple thing. Take out old wall and move it over by 2'. Of course it required some power lines being moved and adding an outlet. Finish up to primer due to house painting later after all projects are done.

Then in part of walking closet we made a new laundry room on 2nd story... Work required building a new wall inside walking closet pulling new electric and plumbing and closing it with drywall. tile inside laundry and double closet door installation.

Than we finished walk in closet with build in units.

Curved roof, siding, stone, fence, retainig wall. - Wheaton 2

This is same house as already posted in Wheaton . We added small gated fence for trash cans next to chimney, reinforced main gate so top wouldn't scratch and space would be equal, installed automatic gate opener and built small retaining walls along the fence side. Replaced unsightly and against code roof above basement stairs and replaced it with a curved roof so there would get enough head space. Placed stone on stairs and landing for much better look and covered unsightly concrete work with vinyl siding (this was interesting, because due to space we put siding directly on concrete walls). We had to install light under basement entry roof and added one light for front(used to be just on one side).

Plus we finished part entry into basement. Put tiles on floor, added walls with doors(closet) for laundry room, finished ceiling and installed door wall. Basically built wall from doors so can be open-able and is great access to small storage area and utilities (AC, water-heater)

Enjoy pictures.

Fairfax floors

We installed new stairway, new finished floor in kitchen and landing and refinished floor on first floor. as well as painted whole top floor.

For some reason cannot locate pictures...House was being put on sale so will try to get new pictures.

Arlington tiny basement sink installation

Hooked it to plumbing with bathroom on the other side of wall.

Arlington kitchen ceiling

We dropped the ceiling and leveled it as possible and installed cleanable plastic ceiling with new light-fixture.

Arlington deck

We had to remove collapsed old deck and built a new from scratch. Had to clean out some bushes as well to be able to do so. Also we did additional support for second story deck.

Takoma Park - garage, deck, roof, concrete step and walkway

Over here we started with fixing garage.
Had to uncover back wall which wasn't protected before dirt was filled in. Studs, base plates around almost whole garage got replaced, added windows, placed protection against water damage and refilled with dirt. Returned siding with slide modification due to terrain after refilling with dirt.
Than we pulled old deck planks which were painted and in bad condition and replaced them with new ones which we stained and added a small railing from the doors to the end of deck. We created a small shelf to put things on side of house next to deck . Changed direction of gutter from one side to another. We also had to replace some wood on the door frame which was gone by water-damage and was letting water in.
Also we built a concrete walkway from the front circled step to the walkway by steps in front of the yard. That part was completely missing (there was no concrete walkway; just grass)
And last we built this tiny roof over the basement doors.
ENJOY PICTURES.

Rockville deck

this was a simple relatively small attached deck. The only thing was that it was a really steep slope as you can see on the picture but we managed to resolve this.

Capitol Hill house fix - water damage and more

This was extensive drywall repair of the entire house from the top floor to the basement. We also had to replace the roof on the house, repair plumbing, electric wiring and doors.

Had to use shark[bites due to insufficient space and too much things in the way if fire used. Problem was that contractor who was working on bathroom hit a waterline with a nail at worst possible location.

Also had to clean and seal outside brick due to not good condition.
