Arlington house refinishing

This is project house in Arlington VA. We did lot of work on this house.

Probably should start in basement. We installed recess lighting with new switch(running new line). Than finished dropped ceiling and fixed and painted walls.

Bathroom needed just replace sink, fan, light and few details like replacing old outlets etc...

First floor had kitchen where we refinished cabinets so they look like new and replace 2 broken tiles. Also we install crown-molding in living room and dining and kitchen area. Fixed walls, trims, painted, pulled TV wires to correct places, replace outlets lights.

In bathroom we changed sink where we had to re-rout water lines and install new sink, some of the cracked tiles got changed and whole bathroom got re-grouted so you cannot say that it is old tile. look like new tile-work. Light got changed and walls painted.

We had to change whole stairway going upstairs to 2nd floor, with custom made railing. Also we had to install new lights in hallway and rerouted wires from old spot where light originally was. Also in closet we added switch for light. Fixed few other things.

And we got to second floor. Lets start with window in second level. there was 1 2x3' window and we opened wall and put in same but new window with 3x3' windows on each side.

Bathroom needed change first 2 lines of tiles so owner decided to change them for bigger tiles with insert for shampoo and than re-gout also rest of the bathroom. Same as other 2 bathrooms this needed to change sink and light.

We did fence where terrain didn't make it easiest, but looks good

Snow knocked down small roof at front door so we reattached it with adding nice support so it wouldn't happened again.

We also fixed gutter in back of the house and replaced one in front.

Alexandria basement, batroom, house project

This was basement remodeling with fixing things all around the house.

We had to demo on some structure in basement, than we closed the wall with brick(was there opening for doors)and removed old window and replaced it with glass-boxes. also installed holder for garden hose.

When we were done with this part, we built framing, rerouted plumbing and electric for washer and dryer,Also we enclosed A/C and water-heater unit. Dropped the ceiling so we could put drywall.

In another 2 rooms we took out old paneling and replaced it with drywall. Finished it and painted it. We also put down tile in newly framed area(owner didn't have same size tile as in rest of the basement so had make nice transition)

Owner ordered most of the doors but we installed patio doors

And installed glass doors. Had to remove old door, remake door frame because owner decided that he want those doors to be opening into different room.

Also we installed really nice crown-molding

We had to change floor in one bathroom (re-tile). In next bathroom we had to fix some framing and plumbing after some guy who was there before, re-grout and install toilet, sink and light. Had to reroute electric wires as well due to changing regular door for sliding. Fix walls and paint.

Another thing we had to was insulate ad-dick because it was leaking a lot of air with making little walkway above duct work.

We also had to fix/change/move/install lot of switches, some outlets, lights and touch ups all around the house as well as TV wall hangers.

Addition, shed and a lot more....in Takoma Park

Here we were doing a lot of things.

We built a small addition/conversion form screened in porch into an enclosed living area with a vent coming into the floor for heat and A/C, as well as installing a floating floor.

Built huge sheds. We built a deck base to accommodate the uneven terrain to have the structure leveled with minimal digging. Built the frame and roof and installed the windows and siding.

We installed handrails on stairs to first floor as well as basement.

Installed windows in the attic of the house.

Refinished floors which were in really bad shape.

Installed storm doors.

Installed attic stairs.

Built double walk-in closets in basement.

Door window replacement in MD

This was simple door and window replacement for guy who is working for NASA.

Complete basement makeover in Arlington

Here we build framing, cut the brick and extended well with drain so we could put bigger window, pulled electric wires with lights and outlets, rerouted plumbing, moved doors in wall by 6" so we could fit bathroom(here we did plumbing electric fan and tile - full finish from nothing), put insulation, drywall and painted. Finished from brick to furniture.
